Montgomery County officer hurt after being hit by car
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officer was hurt after being hit by a suspected stolen vehicle on Thursday.
According to police, officers attempted to pull over a potentially stolen car at 8:16 p.m. in the 9500 block of Georgia Avenue.
There, the driver struck the officer’s leg with the vehicle and drove away, headed southbound towards D.C.

Police say the officer sustained minor injuries and their cruiser was damaged.
