Montgomery County police officer hospitalized in crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A Montgomery County police officer was hospitalized after a crash that happened on Friday, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.

The officer was responding to a call around 2:30 p.m. when they were struck by a car near New Hampshire Avenue and E. Randolph Street.

According to police, the officer and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to the hospital for evaluation.
