Pedestrian seriously hurt after crash in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A car hit a pedestrian on Thursday evening, injuring them.

The Montgomery County Department of Police said officers responded to the Spring Street and Colesville Road area for a pedestrian who was hit by a car at around 6:45 p.m.

The pedestrian, a man, was seriously hurt. He was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained at the scene of the crash.

The investigation is still ongoing.
