BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — August 27, 2025
The Monroe Fire Protection District reported that crews extinguished a semi-truck fire on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, on State Road 37 southbound, just south of the I-69 interchange.
Engine 22 and additional units responded to the blaze and brought it under control. No injuries were reported, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
