Saints receive Trey Palmer and add 15 players to the practice squad

NEW ORLEANS — It was a busy day for the New Orleans Saints, who claimed wide receiver Trey Plamer and tackle Xavier Truss off the waiver wire.

The 6’1, 190-pound Kentood product started his college career at LSU and finished it at Nebraska, where he molded himself into a 2023 6th-round draft pick.

Palmer spent the first two years of his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he eclipsed 645 yards receiving with 5 touchdowns in both the regular and postseason.

Palmer also returned punts and kicks for the Bucs.

The team added 15 players to the practice squad to accommodate the additions of Palmer and Truss.
