What were these Arkansas buildings before they turned into Spirit Halloween stores?

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — As the temperatures start to get cooler and the smell of pumpkin spice is almost in the air, Spirit Halloween is moving into vacant storefronts near you.

Spirit Halloween is a costume store that is usually open during the fall season but disappears at the start of November.

The company is set to have more than 1,500 stores for the upcoming holiday season, with seven in Arkansas.

Across not only Arkansas but the entire country, these stores pop up in vacant buildings where businesses have closed.
