LEBANON, Ind. — A new 30-bed hospital is coming to Lebanon.

According to a news release from Parkview Health on Tuesday, the hospital system announced a new $150 million project that will bring a full-service hospital and medical office building to Lebanon.

The new site will be located in Hickory Junction at the intersection of I-65 and State Road 39 in Boone County, the release said.

“Boone County is growing quickly, and the availability of high-quality healthcare is essential to supporting its long-term growth,” said Dr. Greg Johnson, chief physician executive of growth markets, Parkview Health. “By investing here, we want to ensure that families in Lebanon and surrounding communities can receive advanced care close to home, delivered by providers who are committed to their neighbors for generations to come.”

The 108,000-square-foot hospital will also feature a 24/7 emergency department, as well as inpatient medical, surgical and specialty care. The 30,000-square-foot medical office building will have primary and specialty care options, the release said, as well as outpatient diagnostics and a shared employer clinic.

The release said that the Lebanon facility is expected to create more than 200 healthcare jobs.

“We are excited to welcome Parkview Health to Lebanon,” Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry said in the release. “This investment will bring expanded healthcare access, high-quality services and new healthcare options to Lebanon and Boone County. Parkview’s commitment to Lebanon reflects the strength of our community, and we are eager to build a lasting partnership that benefits our residents for years to come.”

Construction on the facility is expected to begin next year. The release said the target opening date for the facility is the summer of 2028.
