Elderly driver killed in single-vehicle accident on I-15

MEADOW, Utah (ABC4) — A 74-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash in Meadow, according to the Utah Dept. of Public Safety.

According to a press release issued Sunday, the man was driving a silver Honda Pilot northbound on I-15 near mile post 155. The driver allowed the car to drift from the road, according to DPS.

He reportedly then overcorrected, causing the car to roll several times. The vehicle came to a rest on its roof.

The driver, a 74-year-old man, was killed in the crash. He was the only individual inside the vehicle.

“There is the possibility of medical issues being a factor,” the DPS release states.
