WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A West Valley City man has been charged for allegedly punching another driver in the face after a vehicle collision.
Everadro Davila, 24, has been charged with one count of assault with bodily injury with a road rage enhancement, as well as two infractions for unsafe lane travel and not having a valid driver’s license.
According to court documents, on Aug. 5, 2025, two vehicles were traveling in the area of 3500 S in West Valley City. Allegedly, Davila was driving a GMC, and the victim was driving a Toyota. While driving, the two vehicles reached an area where two lanes merged into one, and the GMC tried to pass the Toyota.
The GMC did not successfully pass, and the vehicles were involved in a collision. According to a witness, they saw the GMC weaving around vehicles and traveling at a high rate of speed before the collision. After the crash, Davila and the victim pulled into a nearby parking lot, and the witness followed soon after.
At this point, Davila and the victim allegedly got into a verbal argument when Davila “suddenly punched” the victim in the head. The witness reported seeing this incident. The victim began to bleed from a laceration that later required stitches.
A West Valley City Police officer responded to the area and spoke with Davila, who did not have a valid driver’s license. Davila was not booked into jail, but has a summons issued for an initial appearance in court.
