Report: $10K+ of equipment stolen from Indy high school

INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after more than $10,000 of lawn care equipment was reported stolen from a high school on the near east side of Indianapolis Friday morning.

According to a police report filed by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded around 8:16 a.m. to 440 St. Peter Street, the listed address for Trinity Christian School, to investigate a report of a burglary.

The report documented that six pieces of lawn care equipment were stolen for a total value of $11,400, including a Yamaha Wolverine Four Wheeler.

Below is a breakdown of the stolen items and their respective values:

  • Red Toro push mower — $400
  • Husqvarna weedeater — $300
  • Husqvarna backpack leaf blower — $300
  • Craftsman backpack sprayer — $200
  • Ryobi pole saw — $200
  • Yamaha Wolverine — $10,000

The report does not indicate that an arrest has been made in connection with the case. As of this article’s publication, no other information was immediately available.
