BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana State Police were called to the scene of a deadly crash in Ascension Parish just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
A 2003 Ford F-150 was involved in the crash on I-10 East at LA 73.
Clyde Butler, 77, of New Orleans, died in the crash. He was partially thrown from the vehicle, LSP said.
The vehicle drove off the roadway, hit the guardrail and bridge railing, then flipped multiple times, according to law enforcement.
The New Orleans man died at the scene.
His vehicle was the only one involved in the crash.
