
According to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, 52-year-old Bronson Billiot was arrested in connection with an ongoing multi-agency investigation into child sex crimes. Billiot was arrested in Lafourche Parish and is awaiting transfer to Terrebonne Parish to face additional charges.
TPSO Special Victims Unit detectives had already identified Billiot as a suspect in a series of child abuse incidents in the parish. During the investigation, an additional person came forward with allegations of abuse in Lafourche Parish.
Billiot is accused of abuse beginning when the individual was 15-years-old. He is accused of providing “gifts” in exchange for sexual activity. Billiot was arrested and faces charges of oral sexual battery and indecent behavior with a juvenile, with bond set at $400,000.
In Lafourche Parish, Billiot is accused of years of abusing a 7-year-old. Billiot will later be charged for alleged crimes against the second individual.
