Motorcyclist seriously hurt in crash
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in Brooklyn Park on Wednesday after crashing with a car on Highway 610 and Zane Avenue.
The Minnesota State Patrol said around 10:35 a.m., a motorcycle and a car collided, causing the motorcyclist to sustain serious injuries.
The crash required Highway 610 to be temporarily closed. The State Patrol said it would provide more details about the crash as its investigation into the incident continued.
Brooklyn Park police told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that a witness reportedly saw the motorcycle lane splitting while driving at high speeds before the crash. Brooklyn Park Police said witnesses believed the motorcycle was travelling at 90mph.
