Attorney information was not available for Durbin, as of Wednesday. We will update this if that changes.

The arrest stems from a crash that happened on Aug. 11 at the intersection of South First Street and West William Cannon Drive.

Police said in a news release Monday that the driver of the first vehicle was taken to the hospital. The driver of the second vehicle, later identified as 47-year-old Samson Seablom, died at the scene. Additionally, police said a pedestrian was hit by debris from the crash and taken to the hospital.

This is being investigated as Austin’s 60th fatal crash of 2025, according to APD.
