The DNR fish pond, located at the corner of Carnes and Nelson Street, is ready to go for the Minnesota State Fair.
The DNR trucked in around three dozen species for the fair on Tuesday to stock the popular attraction.

The fish pond has become a staple of the fair, going strong for over 120 years. It began in 1905 using aquariums purchased from the 1904 World’s Fair in St Louis, the DNR said.
The Great Minnesota Get-Together starts Thursday and runs through Sept. 1.
