NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) – This week’s episode of K-Nation focuses on the return of college football in just six days, with KU and K-State both preparing for exciting ‘Week Zero’ matchups. Plus, plenty more Wildcat and Jayhawk fall sports content.

– K-State running back Dylan Edwards is poised to have a breakout season, as he works hard ahead of the Wildcats game against the Iowa State Cyclones in Dublin, Ireland.

– Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels’ relationship with the offensive groups is motivating players to put in an extra effort ahead of the Jayhawks game against the Fresno State Bulldogs in the newly-renovated ‘David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.’

– Sydney Clark will have live coverage on FOX43 at 9 p.m. and 27 News at 10 p.m. immediately following the conclusion of the Kansas-Fresno State game. Kole Emplit will have live reports from Dublin, Ireland starting Wednesday leading up to the K-State-Iowa State game.

– Lawrence native and Kansas alum David Booth donated $300 million to KU Athletics, the largest donation in the program’s history, to help fund ‘phase two’ of stadium renovations, ‘phase two’ of the nearby Gateway District’ and give Kansas Athletics a competitive edge in the world of collegiate sports.

– Former K-State All-American Michael Beasley repeats at the ‘BIG3’ MVP, an award voted on by league players and coaches.

– Bill Self addressed the media on Friday for the first time since his health scare, and says he ‘could coach a game tomorrow.’

– K-State soccer started its season 2-0 after defeating Oral Roberts 2-0 on Thursday and Portland State 2-0 on Sunday.

– Kansas soccer started its season 2-0 after defeating Missouri State 5-3 on Thursday and South Dakota State 1-0 on Sunday.

– Kansas volleyball hosted its media days last week and head coach Matt Ulmer knows he has the talent to win, but needs to figure out the best lineups.
