Man arrested in connection with New Orleans homicide

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was arrested in connection to a New Orleans homicide.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, 56-year-old Daniel Spencer was arrested in connection to the incident. The homicide occurred Saturday, Aug. 16.

NOPD officials said officers began investigating the incident a little after 8:00 a.m. Saturday. Police found man suffering a gunshot wound who was later declared dead by New Orleans EMS. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
