SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Traffic is now back to normal after five lanes were blocked on Northbound I-15 in Salt Lake City due to a multi-car crash.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, five cars were involved in the crash near 2700 South. The crash ended up being a chain reaction.
As per initial reports, a semi ran into the back of several vehicles and pushed them into each other. Another dump truck was also involved in the crash.
Two tow trucks were on scene and loading the impacted vehicles.
A woman is being transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The incident is blocking four lanes in the area.
