Rockford school bus involved in crash with pickup truck

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A Rockford school bus was involved in a crash with a pickup truck on the second day of school.

The crash happened around 4:31 p.m. at the intersection of Dellwood Street and Atwood Avenue.

The bus was seen to have suffered damage to its front passenger side. A pickup truck at the scene had visible damage to the front of the vehicle.

Officers reported that the driver of the truck sustained minor injuries. No children were injured during the incident, according to deputies.
