Man found dead in Vallejo home Monday, police investigating as a homicide

(KRON) — Police are investigating the discovery of a deceased male in a Vallejo home Monday as a homicide. The Vallejo Fire Department responded at around 2:25 p.m. Monday to the 100 block of O’Brien Circle on a report of an unresponsive man inside the residence.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police said the victim’s injuries were consistent with blunt force trauma.

Vallejo PD detectives responded and began investigating. Based on preliminary findings, police said the case is being investigated as a homicide.

Motive and circumstances surrounding the victim’s death remain under investigation, police said. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Coroner’s Office.

The incident marks Vallejo’s ninth homicide for 2025.
