Another arrest made in connection with deadly Grays Ferry mass shooting

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Police arrested Daquan Brown, 21, in connection with a mass shooting in Grays Ferry that killed three people last month. It marks the second apprehension in the case, following Terrell Frazier’s arrest last week.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s SWAT Unit and Homicide Detectives executed a search warrant at a home in Grays Ferry on Tuesday, where Brown was taken into custody without incident.

The July 7 shooting on the 1500 block of South Etting Street killed Zahir Wylie, 23; Jason Reese, 19; and Azir Harris, 24.

Brown will be charged with murder, attempted murder, weapons violations, and other related offenses.

At least one more man is wanted in connection with the mass shooting.

As with all homicides in the City of Philadelphia, a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
