Man who ran fraudulent food site under Feeding Our Future pleads guilty

A man who was accused of running a fraudulent food distribution site in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme has entered a guilty plea.

Guhaad Hashi Said pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering on Monday. He was scheduled to go on trial in October.

Said was accused of running a fraudulent food distribution site, Advance Youth Athletic Development, and falsely claimed to serve up to 5,000 meals per day, according to court documents.
