Man hospitalized after overnight shooting at restaurant in Wadesboro: Police

WADESBORO, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Law enforcement is investigating an overnight shooting at a restaurant that sent a man to the hospital, according to the Wadesboro Police Department.

Around 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to Bank Shots Bar and Grill on W. Martin Street. Officials said one man was taken to a hospital in Charlotte for treatment. They did not say how severe his injuries are.

Police said there is no ongoing threat to the public. It is unclear if anyone is in custody or if they are still looking for a suspect.
