We will keep the sunshine for the day Sunday as well as the 90s. High temperatures will max out around 90, with heat index values in the low 90s. A slight 10% chance for a stray shower/storm will be possible. Most areas, however, will remain sunny and rain-free.
Slight rain chances continue as we start the new work week. Sunshine and hot temperatures approaching 90 will linger into Monday out ahead of an approaching cold front. Little to no relief from the heat is expected, as high temperatures are expected to remain in the mid to upper 80s from Tuesday through Thursday. As temperatures briefly dip, rain chances will increase. The weak cold front will return the risk for scattered showers and storms both Tuesday and Wednesday. A few isolated showers could linger into the day Thursday as well.
