MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — A man allegedly found in possession of several drugs in the company of his young sibling, is now in deputy custody.
Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office report that on Aug. 1, they arrested 21-year-old Lane Roberts while at a carwash.
According to STPSO Proactive Enforcement Unit, Roberts was allegedly found in possession of over two pounds of marijuana, more than 100 THC Vapes and THC edibles, with his 6-year-old sibling also in the vehicle.
A search of his home allegedly led detectives to find “a substantial inventory” of illegal drugs, large amount of cash, drug paraphernalia associated with packaging and distribution of illegal drugs as well as a semi-automatic handgun.
