300 fentanyl pills, meth, marijuana, lots of cash found during arrest at Abilene hotel 
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Hundreds of fentanyl pills, marijuana, methamphetamine, and a large amount of cash was found during an arrest and search warrant at an Abilene hotel last week.

Jermon Freeman was taken into custody at the scene of the seizure on a warrant for possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute.

Taylor County Sheriff’s deputies went to the Baymont Hotel on the 3500 block of West Lake Road to take Freeman into custody on the warrant, and while they were they searching the premises, they found, “more than 300 fentanyl pills, approximately 13 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a large quantity of U.S. currency,” according to a press release. 

Freeman was released from the Taylor County Jail after posting bonds totaling $50,000.  

No further information is available at this time.
