SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The schedule for this year’s Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend has been released.
The Class of 2025 will be joined by over 40 returning Hall of Famers beginning at Mohegan Sun on Friday, September 5. An autograph session will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a tip-off celebration and awards gala.
A full day of enshrinement activities will take place in Springfield on Saturday, September 6, starting at 9:00 a.m. with a youth clinic at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. In a news release from the Basketball Hall of Fame, fans are encouraged to tour and visit during the enshrinement weekend.
Ice Cube is scheduled to present an Impact Award to individuals who are making substantial contributions to their communities through basketball. In addition, a SuperFan presentation is taking place to celebrate the most iconic and passionate fans of the game.
Following the events at The Basketball Hall of Fame, the reception will take place at the Marriott in downtown Springfield from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The red carpet show will be held at 6:00 p.m. outside Symphony Hall and down East Columbus Avenue.
