Just before 3 p.m., deputies say a man in his 30s was in the Kings River at Winton Park when he went underwater.
Investigators report two people found him and pulled him to shore, where he was eventually administered CPR by first responders.
Deputies say he was later pronounced deceased after being transported to a local hospital. He has not been identified.
