MURRAY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Make-A-Wish Utah is dedicated to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses who are fighting extreme mental and emotional challenges everyday, as well as physical challenges. Hospital stays, harsh medical treatments, and surgeries are not only exhausting, they are traumatic and such mental distress can impair a child’s long-term healing. Research shows that wishes can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a crictical illness.

Earlier this year, 15-year-old Ben Brough’s wish for a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida was granted by Make-A-Wish Utah.
