112 pounds of meth seized in major drug bust on I-5 in Oregon; 2 arrested

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – More than 100 pounds of drugs were discovered in a car driving down Interstate 5 in Linn County on Wednesday, according to Oregon State Police.

An OSP trooper stopped the car near Albany for what officials say were “multiple traffic violations,” though these violations were not specified.

Inside the car, a K-9 unit discovered roughly 112 pounds of meth, 5.6 pounds of cocaine, and 4.4 pounds of fentanyl.

Two Washington men were arrested for possession and delivery of these drugs and lodged in Linn County.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
