By rssfeeds-admin A 28-year-old man died after being hit by a car Monday morning in New Market Township, according to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities responded to the crash on County Road 46 near 275th Street East just before 10 a.m.
Investigators believe the man overturned the ATV he was driving and was lying in the road when he was hit by a car driven by a 22-year-old Northfield woman.
The man was brought to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The woman was not injured.
Authorities say the woman was not impaired at the time of the crash.
