Police activity on VTA light rail tracks in Campbell, Winchester Boulevard closed

(KRON) — Law enforcement agencies in the South Bay are responding to an active incident on the VTA light rail tracks near Winchester Boulevard in Campbell. Units with the Campbell Police Department and Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department are on the scene, according to Campbell PD.

Winchester Boulevard is closed between Budd Avenue and San Tomas Expressway, police said. People are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

The VTA is reporting no service to Winchester Transit Center until further notice.
