Person rescued from seaside cliff in San Diego

(FOX 5/KUSI) — One person was rescued after falling from a seaside cliff in the Torrey Pines area of San Diego on Tuesday afternoon.

San Diego Fire-Rescue said a call came in at around 12:50 p.m. that a person had slipped down the side of a cliff near Torrey Pines Scenic Drive.

The area is close to Black’s Beach and the Torrey Pines Gliderport.

A crew of emergency personnel was at the cliff site to help get the person back on safe ground.

The extent of the person’s injuries was unknown as of publishing time.
