NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The trial of a man accused of murder and kidnapping has been delayed.
A judge agreed to push back the trial of Daniel Callihan, who is accused of killing a Loranger woman and kidnapping her two daughters and taking them to Mississippi. One daughter was found dead.
The trial was pushed back so prosecutors and Callihan’s attorneys could discuss a potential plea deal.
