Woman seriously hurt after hit-and-run in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A woman was seriously hurt after a car hit her in Montgomery County on Tuesday night.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) responded to the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Rd. at around 7:30 p.m. for reports of the crash.

The pedestrian, a woman, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the car did not stay at the scene of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.

MCPD said it was investigating it as a hit-and-run. It had a lookout for a 2010-2016 Silver Audi A4 with a missing passenger fog light and a damaged left headlight.
