Passenger killed in Isanti County crash wasn’t wearing a seatbelt

The Minnesota State Patrol said a man killed in a crash Friday morning was not wearing his seatbelt.

According to the State Patrol, the crash occured before 4:52 a.m. in Isanti County along Highway 95.

There, a Chevrolet Silverado was travelling east on the highway when it crossed the center line and struck a Ford Edge that was travelling west near Tucker Street Northeast.

The driver of the Silverado, a 76-year-old man, was not injured in the crash.

In the Ford Edge, the 48-year-old driver was not hurt, but the passenger, Randy Alan St. Clair, 60, of North Branch, was killed as a result of the crash.

The State Patrol said St. Clair had not been wearing a seatbelt when the crash occured.
