RICH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The public was asked to avoid the area of SR 16 and Reed Lane, south of Woodruff, Utah, due to a multiple vehicle crash.
According to the Rich County Sheriff’s Office, SR 16 was temporarily closed due to a multiple-vehicle accident that injured eight people. At least one person had to be rescued from where they were trapped in a vehicle.
Emergency responders were on scene, including ground and air ambulances, fire departments, and police.
No additional information is available on the status of the injured people at this time.
As of 4:30 p.m., the accident has been cleared and SR 16 is open.
