RCV Performance Products making high performance parts for more than 70 years

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Leaders at a Rockford-area manufacturer say their products are used all over the world.

After 13 years with RCV Performance Products in Loves Park, autumn Watkins says the company continues to make her proud.

“They value investment and development,” she said. “We’re always investing in new machinery, and we’re always developing talent within our employees.”

Watkins is operations director for the company. It’s a division of Aircraft Gear Corp., a family-owned business that makes aerospace and drive train components in the U.S. for more than 70 years. They were careful what we showed us because some of what they manufacture is confidential.

Watkins says the company is proud of the fact that everything they do is American-made.

“It’s a vision that we set out many may years ago as a family-owned business that started in the community over 75 years ago, and it has stuck with us throughout the years and it continues to drive us,” she said.

With thousands of parts to make each day, the roughly 100 employees keep plenty busy. At their second facility in Rockford, they assemble their products.

John Cacciapaglia says the company takes great pride in what they manufacture.

“This is the final product, from the cut of the steel, to the final boxed product, all made here right in Loves Park, Illinois,” said Cacciapaglia, the company’s sales director. “Very proud of the shop out there. We make quality products for customers that expect a quality product. These products will see all over the united states, all over the world for that matter.”

For Watkins, there’s no better place to work.

“It’s really an honor to be a part of a company that truly cares about their employees and their success and the products they put out into the field,” she said.
