Big Country residents urged to donate to senior citizen drive

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – 67.8% of the elderly fail to have their daily basic needs met. KTAB recently learned of this statistic, which spurred us into action to create a way to give back to the elderly generation within the Big Country. With your help, we hope to collect basic items and donate them to those in need.

The Senior Citizen Drive will run through July 18, collecting items such as:

  • Hygiene Products
  • Light Sweats
  • Lotions
  • Shorts
  • Socks (non-slip, grip)
  • Underwear
  • Shirts
