Officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation said the right lane is open and the left lane remains closed after a reported crash between a semi truck and a vehicle.

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. — A portion of I-70 eastbound in Hancock County is closed due to a reported crash involving a semi truck and a vehicle that caused a fire.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, officials reported around 11:14 a.m. on Tuesday that all lanes are closed on I-70 eastbound at the 109 mile marker because of the reported crash.

In an update from INDOT at around 11:28 a.m., officials said the lanes are still close. Crews are diverting traffic at State Road 9, near the 103 mile marker. The duration of the closure is unknown, officials said.

This comes after a semi fire closed a portion of I-65 in Clinton County on Tuesday morning.
