Fatal crash and fire on Highway 4 in Concord, all lanes back open

(KRON) — A fatal crash on Highway 4 west of Willow Pass Road in Concord blocked lanes earlier on Monday afternoon. The crash was reported at 12:30 p.m. on Highway 4 near the Willow Pass Road onramp.

As of around 3:13 p.m., all lanes were back open.

Drivers are advised to expect residual delays. There was no immediate word on what caused the accident or how many injuries there are.

No other information about the collision was immediately available.
