Burglary suspect accused of second case in same area of Central Business District

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is trying to locate and arrest a suspect who is now accused of at least one more car burglary in the same area of the CBD.

A week ago, we told you about a car burglary in the 300 block of Baronne Street. According to police, the suspect stole a necklace and a gun. After our first story aired on July 7, according to police, the same suspect burglarized another car. That case happened on July 12 in the 900 block of Gravier Street. Police did not say what items were taken in the second case.

According to police, the suspect is 53-year-old Joshua Daigle. Court records show Daigle has been arrested for burglary multiple times starting in 2012.
