Large crowds dressed in their best red, white, and blue attire showed up to Enfield’s 40th Fourth of July Town Celebration. Many brought out their lawn chairs hours in advance to get a front row seat for the firework show.
And as they waited they had the opportunity to listen to live music and enjoy some food. This event surely brought people together in a patriotic spirit even after the 4th of July.
“I’m excited to be here. It’s like it’s like a nice atmosphere. I got all my friends here, too. There’s a lot of good food trucks around here, too, so you always got something good to eat and then the fireworks later,” said Logan Picard of Connecticut.
And Lilliana Borrellia of Connecticut also expressed her excitement for this event, “I’m loving the band. The music is great. The people are nice. Very nice.”
For many, it has become a cherished tradition to come back to year after year.
