Tractor-trailer overturns on I-95 in Howard County during crash; driver injured

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Traffic was backed up on Interstate 95 in Howard County after a tractor-trailer overturned in the median Friday morning.

The Maryland State Police (MSP) told DC News Now that the tractor-trailer and another vehicle had collided on I-95, near Montgomery Road, just before 7 a.m. on July 11.

The truck driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown.

Traffic cameras on the highway showed the truck lying on its side in the median. Multiple first responders were on the scene, and traffic was delayed on the north and southbound lanes.

In an update late Friday morning, two lanes remained closed on I-95, and traffic was delayed for several miles.
