Photos: Family member drives into living room in Montgomery County

Editor’s Note — The images released by Montgomery County police showing the incident have been taken down due to a request from the family.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Montgomery County Department of Police said someone accidentally drove into their home on Friday.

4th District officers responded to the 11100 block of Luttrell Lane. Around 9:45 a.m., a Rivian crashed into the home.

Photos of the scene show the vehicle seemingly made it through two rooms, with the front end breaching the wall into the living room.

Police reported the driver was a family member and the incident was unintentional. No injuries were reported.
