NAACP National Convention comes to Charlotte this weekend
The convention, themed “The Fierce Urgency of Now,” runs from July 9-16 and is expected to draw entrepreneurs, scholars, artists, and activists from across the country.
While events began earlier in the week with the National ACT-SO competition, the main convention kicks off this Saturday, July 12, at the Charlotte Convention Center.

The weekend will also feature access to The Hub, an open-to-the-public area inside the Convention Center where attendees can explore resources and interactive exhibits.
