Indiana Comic Convention returning to Circle City

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Comic & Pop Culture Convention is making a Superhero Landing at the Indiana Convention Center in March.

The event, hosted annually for the past 12 years, is regarded as “…a world-class pop culture phenomenon that brings the best in entertainment to the Northeast,” the convention’s website states.

This includes photo ops, panels and autographs from celebrities, gaming competitions, cosplay contests, vendor booths, exhibitors “that cater to a wide-spectrum of interests” and opportunities for followers of any fandom. “There is something for everyone,” Indiana Comic Convention said.

What celebrities will be there?

Indiana Comic Convention is hosting 92 total guests this year, ranging from film stars, writers, voice actors, artists and more. The full guest list can be viewed at this link, but here are a few highlights:

  • Tony Danza (Taxi, Who’s the Boss)
  • Brent Spiner (Star Trek)
  • Dean Cain (Superman)
  • Wayne Knight (Jurassic Park, Seinfeld)
  • Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters)
  • Rainn Wilson (The Office, Starship Troopers)
  • Katey Sagal (Married With Children, Futurama)
  • William Shatner (Star Trek)
  • Priscilla Presley (Wife of Elvis Presley, star of Dallas, The Naked Gun)
  • Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil, Full Metal Jacket)

When can I visit?

Indiana Comic Convention will take place from Friday, March 14 through Sunday, March 16.

Registration:

  • Friday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vendor floor:

  • Friday: 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The convention added that VIP and RUBY Passholders will receive early entries to the vendor floor. They can enter a half hour before opening on each day of the event.

Programming hours:

  • Friday: 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How much are tickets?

Tickets for the Indiana Comic Convention — including multi-day passes, photo ops, autographs and special events — can be purchased here.

Day passes cost $35 for Friday and Sunday, or $49 for Saturday. Tickets can also be bundled into “Multipass,” “RUBY Pass, “VIP Jr. Pass,” and “VIP Pass” bundles at discounted prices.

Photo opportunities range from $50 to $145, per the convention website.
