Electrical fire displaces 6 Rohnert Park families

(KRON) — Six families were displaced by a Thursday afternoon apartment blaze, the City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire confirmed. Authorities have determined that the electrical fire was accidental.

The fire broke out in the 6300 block of Country Club Drive. Fire crews from Rohnert Park, Rancho Adobe and Sonoma County assisted at the location.

“Aggressive fire attack and search for trapped occupants quickly brought the incident under control,” said officials in a social media post.

The American Red Cross is helping to arrange temporary housing for the fire victims.

No one was injured in the incident.
