Fresno to have new immersive haunted attraction this October

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – With spooky season a couple of months away, organizers are already planning a distinct experience for Halloween. Organizers announced that the city of Fresno will be “getting a lot scarier” this spooky season with its brand new immersive haunted attraction, Fresno Fright Nights.

Fresno Fright Nights promises to deliver intense scares, immersive storytelling and Hollywood-level special effects.

This October, the event will have four distinct experiences across a sprawling 6-acre Halloween attraction, which is what organizers say is designed to push fears to the limit.

The attraction begins with a 1/4 mile-long immersive experience through Fresno Advanced Chemicals, an abandoned plant where experiments went “horribly wrong.” Guests will then navigate Ghoul Town Trails, a cemetery filled with what organizers say will be their darkest hours, before encountering the lair of the Fresno Night Crawler at Night Crawlers Pizza.

The adventure concludes with a “fun little trip” through the Blood River Bayou Swamp.

Organizers say beyond the scares, the fright nights will offer a variety of entertainment for all ages. Visitors can enjoy food trucks, 12 different creepy photo opportunities, two full-service adult beverage lairs with signature drinks, pumpkin creations, wicked goodies and a large concert stage featuring emcees, still walkers and night sliders.

Fresno Fright Nights will be hosted at Island Waterpark in Fresno. It starts on Oct. 3 and will end on Nov. 1. For more information, click here.
