Rockford man accused of throwing a TV at an elderly victim

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Tremaine Lee, 47, for attacking a man and damaging his property, according to court records.

On July 9, around 1 a.m., officers were called to the 2200 block of Wilmette Drive for reports of battery. The victim told authorities that Lee threw a TV at him, which knocked him onto his bed.

The suspect proceeded to kick and punch the man multiple times, court documents show.

The victim had visible injuries, officials reported.

Lee is charged with aggravated battery of a victim over the age of 60 and criminal property damage.
